The World Academy of Agricultural Sciences invites researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to submit papers for the Global Food Security Conference 2026, to be held in Beijing, China from October 15-18, 2026.

The conference theme, 'Innovating for a Food-Secure Future,' will explore cutting-edge research and practical solutions to ensure sustainable food production for a growing global population. Topics of interest include:

• Climate-resilient crop varieties and farming systems • Sustainable intensification of agricultural production • Post-harvest loss reduction and food distribution systems • Nutrition-sensitive agriculture and dietary diversity • Policy frameworks for food security and rural development • Digital agriculture and precision farming technologies

Abstract submissions are due by June 30, 2026. Selected papers will be published in a special issue of the Journal of Agricultural Sciences.

Early registration discounts are available until August 31, 2026. Travel grants are available for early-career researchers from developing countries.
