Announcement on the Officially-Designated Third-Party Food and Drug Testing Institution of the World Academy of Agricultural Sciences for Asia Region

To standardize the testing-verification, admission review and traceability management of food and pharmaceutical products within the global system of the World Academy of Agricultural Sciences, unify testing standards for cooperative operations across Asia, eliminate industry misunderstandings, prevent information confusion in cooperation, and ensure the professionalism, standardization and authority of product quality control across the Academy's system, we hereby issue the following announcement concerning the Academy's officially-designated third-party food and drug testing institution for Asia.
In the course of coordinating supply-chain admission and quality testing for food and pharmaceutical products among cooperating legal entities in Asia, the Academy has identified ambiguities and misinformation among certain cooperating entities, supply-chain service providers and industry institutions regarding the official name, institutional qualification and ownership of the third-party testing body recognized by our system. Such confusion has hampered the standardized implementation of regional cooperation projects. For the purpose of clarifying official cooperation criteria, defining institutional ownership boundaries and standardizing global business workflows, the following formal clarifications are provided.
1. Official Standard Name of the Designated Testing Institution
Within the Asian system of the World Academy of Agricultural Sciences, the sole officially-designated, recognized and accredited third-party professional testing institution for food and pharmaceuticals is: Hong Kong Centre for Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Testing.
This institution serves as our exclusive partner for food-and-drug quality verification, product admission testing, compliance assessment, research-sample testing and quality traceability for industrial cooperation across Asia. Test reports, verification certificates and quality-evaluation documents issued by this institution constitute valid official credentials accepted throughout the Academy's global system and its Asian cooperation programmes.
2. Governing-Body Statement
The Hong Kong Centre for Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Testing is fully operated and managed by China Bio-Pharmaceutical Group Co., Limited. Its services cover core scenarios including food-pharmaceutical scientific research, industrial deployment and cross-border compliance within our Asia-Pacific system.
3. Special Clarification on Institutional Affiliation
After rigorous official verification, the designated cooperating institution Hong Kong Centre for Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Testing has no affiliation whatsoever with the planned "Hong Kong Centre for Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Regulation" under the Health Department of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government. All cooperating entities, supply-chain enterprises and research institutions shall draw a clear distinction between the two bodies to avoid name confusion, mis-attribution of entities and misinterpretation of qualifications.
